Portrait Response

A successful portrait should contain the following: A clear, clinical image meaning that the image should contain nothing but a backdrop and the face of the subject, it should have defined features as in not a blurry image showing just a blob that you can somewhat make out to be a face, the portrait should also show the current emotion they are feeling at that given moment.


I believe it is not a portrait due to the following: the image is blurry, there are no distinct definitions in her face besides the obvious wrinkles, and it looks like she was told to smile for the photo.
